Alicia Stegeman Moore

On November 21, 2007, beloved mother Alicia Stegeman Moore peacefully journeyed to her Lord and Savior. She was a wonderful woman who always led a life of strength, kindness, unconditional love and total joy.

Alicia was born July 21, 1913, in Iowa. She and her husband, Larry Stegeman, raised their family in Wisconsin while working their farm and running the sheriff’s department. It was said that some would try to get arrested so they could have her home-cooked meals.

She and her husband retired to Fallbrook in 1977. Alicia was a part of the day-to-day lives of all of her family. Alicia leaves a grand legacy of three daughters, 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

We will miss you, Mom.

A memorial for Alicia will be held on Friday, November 30, at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church, located at 1620 South Stage Coach Lane.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to World Vision.
