Ardath Davies to turn 100

Family and friends will host a party for Ardath “Grandma” Davies on Saturday, December 1, from noon to 2 p.m. at the LDS Church, 621 Stage Coach Lane. She turns 100 on December 2.

Mrs. Davies arrived in Fallbrook with her family in 1952 after living in Salt Lake City, northern California and the Imperial Valley. Ardath, married to Giles Davies, has two children, Milton and Jonnette of Fallbrook, and two stepdaughters. She has 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

If all goes well, she will be featured in the Christmas Parade that evening.
