Bradley James Denny

Bradley James Denny, 66, of Escondido died November 23, 2007, following a battle with cancer. He was born March 29, 1941.

Brad enlisted in the Navy in 1959, where he studied electronic engineering while serving two full tours. Assigned to Miramar Naval Air Station following service in Vietnam, Bradley met and married Grace Drew of Fallbrook in 1962; the Dennys recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.

After nine years in the Navy, Bradley turned his talents to computerized electronic applications for medicine and industry and received several patents during his career. His interests included RV trips with Fallbrook Exploradores. He served as a Range Master for Escondido Fish and Game and was a life member of the National Rifle Association, a member of the Knights of Columbus and a devout Catholic.

Bradley is survived by his wife, Gracie, and their three grown children, Elaine and husband Doyle Price, Murrieta; Brian Denny and wife Tara, Julian; and Lynette and husband Dean Nelson, San Marcos. Brad was devoted to his nine grandchildren, ages 4 to 22.

Bradley is also survived by a sister, Beverly, and her husband Dean Wooldridge, Loveland, CO; and a brother, Randy Denny, and his wife Laura, Monument, CO; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Church in Escondido on November 27. A private internment ceremony will be held at Riverside National Cemetery.
