Car Club donates to firestorm relief fund

Fallbrook Vintage Car Club (FVCC) recently presented a check to the Legacy Endowment Foundation for the relief fund set up for local victims of the recent fires. The money will be part of the fund used to help Fallbrook residents recover from the Rice Canyon fire in Fallbrook, Rainbow and De Luz. One hundred percent of contributions to this fund will be used to assist the fire victims.

Legacy Endowment was formed to enhance and preserve a higher quality of life for the community now and for generations to come. Its mission is to facilitate philanthropy for local individuals, businesses, families and nonprofits. Legacy’s office is located adjacent to the Chamber of Commerce office on East Mission and is open Tuesdays through Thursdays.

The FVCC is dedicated to the preservation and appreciation of vintage cars. It has been a contributor to local charities and nonprofits for decades and generates its funding from the annual car show conducted on Memorial Day. Next year, for the first time, the show will be held on the grounds of Potter Junior High School.
