Annual 'Adopt a Family' program up and running

The Christmas season is here and the volunteers at the Fallbrook Food Pantry hope that residents are planning to include the less fortunate on their shopping lists.

Now is the time to sign up to “Adopt a Family” for Christmas. Residents can simply call the Food Pantry at (760) 728-7608 and tell them that they want to provide a holiday meal and gift for each member of one of their client families.

The Food Pantry will provide all the necessary information, including the family’s name, address, telephone number and a brief description of the members of the family.

Donors will then make their purchases and contact the family to make arrangements for the delivery of food and gifts to them during Christmas week.

They can make this Christmas season really special – for them and for their adopted family – and experience the joy of giving while at the same time helping someone in the community have a happy Christmas.
