Waddington named CAST Student of the Year

Each year CAST honors one student for his/her faithful commitment to the performing arts. For 2007 the honor went to Cassie Waddington.

Waddington was recently honored with the coveted title of Student of the Year for her tremendous contributions in dance as well as onstage performances. She helped lead her Competition Dance teams to High First trophies, also placing in the overall top 10 awards at each competition.

She volunteered her talents as a featured dancer in CAST’s highly successful “Beauty and the Beast” in May and as the Queen’s quirky sister in “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” performed this past summer.

Waddington also helps assistant teachers in the younger dance classes at CAST as well as performs with her church’s choir. Among her many performing accomplishments she also received the perfect attendance award at her school.

CAST congratulates Waddington and her family.
