Warriors to play in annual baseball classic

The CIF-San Diego Section is pleased to announce the participating teams for the Third Annual Baseball “K” Classic scheduled for Saturday, February 23, at Central Union High School (El Centro).

The classic begins at 8:30 a.m. with Division IV up-and-comer La Jolla Country Day School battling always-tough Brawley High School.

At 10:45 a.m. Division IV power Coronado High School goes against Southwest High School (El Centro).

Division I Fallbrook High School takes on Division IV Palo Verde High School at 1 p.m.

Beginning at 3:15 p.m., Division II Castle Park High School faces the Bulldogs of Calexico High School.

The Patriots of Patrick Henry High School do battle with Division I favorite Torrey Pines High School at 5:30 p.m.

Finally, at 7:45 p.m., Division I Champion Granite Hills High School takes on emerging Division III Central Union High School.

Tickets go on sale February 1. Cost is $6. It will be a great way to begin the 2007 baseball season!
