FHS students drive to 'Fill the Bus'

This month, Fallbrook High School students are working to give back to the community.

Joey Prentiss, Alexandra Ogden and Christiana Minga have formed the annual “Fill the Bus” toy drive, in which all toys will go straight to the Fallbrook Food Pantry. Toys will be accepted every day at school until December 13.

If the school collects more than 2,000 toys, Principal King will dress up as Santa.

“I think that the toy drive is great because it brings Christmas cheer to everyone this time of year,” says senior Bryce Dornon. “It’s cool to have a principal who is willing to do silly things to motivate the students.”

Fallbrook High will get a boost from the Oak Crest Community exercise group, which has donated hundreds of toys over the years and plans to do so again.
