Juanita L. Adkins

Juanita L. Adkins, 82, passed away December 4, 2007, in San Diego. She was born January 1, 1925, in Danville, AR.

A resident of Escondido, she had previously lived in Fallbrook for more than 50 years. She was a high school graduate who retired from waitressing in the mid-1980s.

Juanita was preceded in death by husband M. Chuck Adkins and daughter Frances L. Taylor. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Jim and Lynn Adkins, Hesperus, CO, and Rick and Linda Adkins, San Diego; sister Bernice Walker, Imperial, CA; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held at Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary on December 8. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
