Richard R. Sanchez

Richard R. Sanchez, 45, passed away in Oceanside, CA, on December 4. Born April 27, 1962, in Oceanside, he was a resident of Fallbrook for 41 years.

Richard graduated from Fallbrook High School in 1981 and attended Palomar Community College. He was an irrigation tech who loved fishing, spending time with his daughter, camping and going on road trips. He was cheerful, friendly, happy and generous, a good friend to have.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert D. Sanchez, and is survived by his mother, Petra Sanchez, Fallbrook; daughter Amanda M. Sanchez, Fallbrook; sisters and brothers-in-law Marsi Sanchez and David, Fallbrook, and Teresa Sanchez and Rene, Fremont, CA; nephews Ricque (Analilia) Sanchez, Oceanside, Roman Ramirez, Fremont, and Andreas Ramirez, Fremont; niece Reign Ramirez, Fremont; and great-nephew Deigo Cruz Sanchez, Oceanside.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 13, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Berry-Bell & Hall Chapel. A Memorial Mass will be held on December 14 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

A donation account has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank in his daughter’s name, Amanda Bly-Sanchez.
