Baroque concert offered Dec. 13

The Hutchins Consort presents a seasonal concert dedicated almost entirely to holiday music from the Baroque period.

The ensemble will perform the Christmas Concertos of Torelli and Zavateri as well as works from Corelli and Sweelinck.

A collection of variations on the old English folk song “Greensleeves,” as arranged by Hutchins Consort Composer-in-Residence Frederick Charlton, highlights the presentation.

The 8 p.m. performance is scheduled for Thursday, December 13, at the Bob Burton Center for the Performing Arts at Fallbrook High School.
