FPUD could easily not accept new customers for now

I am still fuming over the decision of the Fallbrook Public Utility District (FPUD) to cut off water to the farmers in preference to new construction developers and contractors [“Water agencies deliver grim message,” Village News, 11/22/07].

The person who should have delivered the message to the news media was Don McDougal, the chairman of FPUD’s Board of Directors, and not the general manager wearing a childish “Messenger” sign.

Did McDougal not have the guts to present this decision to FPUD’s owners (the ratepayers)?

McDougal, his family and parents have been deeply immersed in Fallbrook real estate for years. Was he afraid that his direct conflict of interest would be challenged by this decision?

All of the FPUD directors – including McDougall; Keith Battle, an Oceanside registered lobbyist; and Milt Davies, a Fallbrook Fire Department captain claiming to be the fire chief in his campaign literature – are traitors to existing customers and should be voted out or recalled immediately.

FPUD’s customers have built this district into what it is today and the board has s----ed them over for strangers who will buy homes the developers build.

The board could have easily stated they will not accept new customers until the situation has been evaluated and all present customers needs evaluated. Therefore, no water allowed for new construction and cutbacks for farmers only when/if needed.

These traitors prefer to destroy farm worker jobs in favor of construction jobs. Some developers are unscrupulous and buy their way into everything (i.e. Congressman Cunningham) and FBI investigations are needed.

I have preached many times about FPUD wasting our money but the old boy groups have prevailed, dooming Fallbrook.

Wake up, Fallbrook, before it is too late. I am a reformer, not the enemy. Are you all satisfied with waste, possible fraud and abuse? I’m not.
