A response to unfair criticism

A regular Fallbrook contributor to the Village News seems to go out of his way to demonstrate his lack of knowledge.

Recently, he embarrassed himself by attributing victory over the Axis in Africa (WWII) to the wrong general and the wrong army! Now he answers Mr. Jon Monday with the unbelievable statement that he was not aware that Americans participated in WWI! Is he actually unaware of the Argonne and Bellou Wood?

And while I’m on the subject of unfair criticism – Mr. Glen Holzhausen of Fallbrook takes me to task for not offering alternate solutions while pointing out the lousy job this administration is doing. Go back to the drawing board, Mr. H., and read my past letters to the Village News headlined “Let the people in Iraq fashion their own destiny,” “Might does not make right,” “What we really need to do in Iraq” and “We need to focus on what matters.”
