Toys for Tots luncheon held

FALLBROOK — The East Ridge Women’s Club recently held a luncheon to collect Toys for Tots for Marine families.

East Ridge is a senior gated community that has many social events for its members and friends.

The centerpieces for each table were a few of the hundreds of stuffed animals, which were delivered to Camp Pendleton for Toys for Tots.

Wilma Fellows told the stories “Christmas Warriors” and “Room at the Inn.” Following the stories, carols were sung with Allen Cook playing the piano.

The hostess committee was Flo Stromoski, Carey Barr, Doris Everett and Jeannine Savage.
