FGMS offering special speaker

The Fallbrook Gem & Mineral Society will meet January 10 at 7 p.m. at 123 West Alvarado, the home of the FGMS and museum.

Scheduled speaker is Jesse Fisher with a PowerPoint presentation titled “Flourite from the North Pennies.”

Fisher is a longtime collector with an MS in geology. He is a partner in the specimen recovery at the Rogerley mine, author of many articles on Southern California pegmatites and their minerals and North English flourites for several magazines.

All are welcome to attend.
