Local donors respond to Blood Bank

FALLBROOK — Fallbrook Hospital Auxiliary hosts four San Diego Blood Bank visits to Fallbrook each year. The December 13 drive had 63 local residents sign up to give blood and 51 pints were given.

Betty Long, Blood Bank chairman for the auxiliary, was pleased with the turnout, which she attributes to the calls made to each previous donor by the auxiliary volunteers. She was assisted by Carol Faw, Joyce Gilson, Velna Wells and Roena Thompson.
