Free golf offered at Welk Resort

ESCONDIDO — Welk Resort is offering free golf on January 12 for both 18-hole golf courses to show appreciation to the Southern California golfing population.

Signups begin at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 9, by calling the golf shop at (760) 749-3225. All tee times are on a first-come, first-served basis and golfers must provide a valid e-mail address to confirm their reservation.

In addition, a round of golf for four players will be raffled each hour, along with a grand prize of one year of free golf on both of the resort’s golf courses.
