Maddock family says thank you

To the Warrior Nation football team, Fallbrook 4-H and community of Fallbrook:

First, we’d like to thank the Pop Warner Warrior Nation football team. Dave and I and our children are just totally blown away, yet so grateful, for the unbelievably generous act of kindness and sacrifice that your team made for our family.

We realize how hard you had to work to raise that much money and how difficult a decision it must have been to give up such a special opportunity to play in Hawaii. You are truly one very special team.

Also, a special thank you to the Fallbrook 4-H group that left, at our doorstep, handmade, snuggly fleece throws. Those were perfect and we love them!

And to the community of Fallbrook…wow. All we can say is we feel so loved and we can’t thank you enough. The outpouring of love, support, prayer, meals, clothes, phone calls and continual offers of help has almost made this tragedy worth going through.

This is a very special town, and because of you our journey to rebuild our lives and home has and will be a lot less painful than it could have been otherwise.
