Jr. Wildlife Art Show entries sought

FALLBROOK — Students in grades K-12 are invited to participate in the 15th Annual Junior Wildlife Art Exhibition to be held at the Art Campus at Fallbrook. The exhibition is being sponsored by the Fallbrook Angel Society this year. The theme for 2008 is “Out of Africa.”

Artwork must be created solely by the student, either in the classroom or at home, and be consistent with the theme. It can include wild plants, flowers, trees, insects, arachnids, birds and all mammals that are indigenous to the continent of Africa.

Flat artwork should be on 9”x12” paper. Black pre-cut mattes with mounting board will be provided. Sculptures can be any size.

Entries will be judged in four groups: grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12. First through third places will be awarded in each group.

Artwork will be accepted April 14-25 at the Art Campus from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be judged on May 2.
