SDG&E to hold public meeting Jan. 16

FALLBROOK — San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) will host a town hall-style meeting for Fallbrook residents affected by the wildfires on Wednesday, January 16, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Fallbrook High School.

The event will include a presentation on rebuilding with energy efficiency and sustainability in mind, a panel discussion with experts on “green” rebuilding and a question and answer session followed by refreshments.

SDG&E is increasing incentive amounts 100 percent for qualified homeowners who choose to rebuild their homes to higher levels of energy efficiency, which is good for the environment while also reducing monthly energy costs.

Information and applications will also be available for the Sempra Energy Foundation, which has established a 2007 Fire Assistance Fund to help affected customers and communities with financial assistance.

Fallbrook High School is located at 2400 South Stage Coach Lane; the event will be held in room 201. To RSVP call (866) 568-3143 or send an e-mail to [email protected].

For more information on energy-saving programs, incentives and assistance, visit http://www.sdge.com or call SDG&E at (800) 411-SDGE (7343).
