Help US remain 'One Nation Under God'

Although it’s been widely rumored, I don’t believe God is Republican…nor Democrat.
Ronald Reagan once commented that he didn’t know if God was on his side, but he hoped he was on God’s side. What wise words!
As the 2008 election approaches, many are discussing the spiritual aspects of this year’s political candidates.
According to a recent poll, 92 percent of Americans believe in God. If that is true, they ought to be asking which issues are important to Him.
For Christians, the answer to that question is found in the Bible, where God’s character and values are revealed. It would be wise to test each issue by asking, “Is God passionate about this?”
Personally, I am a strong advocate for secure borders. However, since I don’t believe this is a moral issue, I am not going to make it a litmus test when choosing a presidential candidate.
I plan to choose a candidate who I believe is shaping his opinions on what he feels God values. I think this is the only way the United States will remain “One Nation Under God.”
