Palomar College children's center has openings

SAN MARCOS — Palomar College’s San Marcos Child Development Center (CHDV) is accepting waiting list applications for summer and fall 2008 semesters. At Palomar’s Escondido Center, the CHDV has openings in its State Preschool three-hour morning and afternoon programs.

The State Preschool program is open to community members regardless of their student or work status. This program is free for those qualified based on family income. A sliding fee scale is available at the San Marcos CHDV for Palomar College students, depending on family size and income.

The college’s centers are open year-round Monday through Friday. The San Marcos CHDV is open 7 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. The Escondido Center has preschool classes from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., 9 a.m. to noon, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. or 2 to 5 p.m. only.
