Berry-Bell & Hall supports Memorial Honor Detail

FALLBROOK — Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary has retained their Sustaining Membership with the Memorial Honor Detail (MHD) based at Riverside National Cemetery.

This honor was awarded to Berry-Bell & Hall in recognition of their support to the MHD.

The Memorial Honor Detail is an all-volunteer group of military retirees, veterans, veterans organizations, active duty military personnel, US Army, Air Force, Naval Reserve personnel, high school Junior ROTC units and other patriots who provide military honors for deceased veterans who are interred at Riverside National Cemetery.

Founded in 1995, the Memorial Honor Detail has grown to more than 380 volunteers consisting of 27 teams and five dispatchers, a qualified armory staff and a 14-member board of directors.

Since May 1996, the MHD has provided military honors for more than 15,580 veterans at Riverside National Cemetery who otherwise would have been buried without Military Honors.

It is only through the continuous contributions and support of fellow patriots and friends like Berry-Bell & Hall that the Memorial Honor Detail can continue its mission.
