BONSALL — At its January 3 meeting, the Bonsall Rotary Club presented a $5,000 check to Debbie Shinner, who heads the REINS Therapeutic Horsemanship Program in Fallbrook.
Shinner emphasized that REINS is “not a pony ride” but provides real proven therapy to children and adults with physical handicaps.
The Bonsall Rotary, a faithful supporter for more than 10 years, was able to contribute to REINS from money it raises through its annual fundraiser.
This year’s event, Wine, Blues & Brews, will be held May 17 at the Center for the Arts in Escondido.
