Live Like a Champion Tour Jan. 18

FALLBROOK — Kids ages 5 to 12 can participate in the Live Like a Champion Tour, a free event hosted by the County of San Diego at the Fallbrook Community Center on Friday, January 18, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.

There will be games like football, basketball, soccer, volleyball and surfing, plus activities like Discovery Zone and “Eat Like a Champion” with prizes and giveaways.

The Live Like a Champion Tour is part of the larger Blue Cross of California Childhood Obesity Initiative, which incorporates a continuum of programs, from prevention to disease management.

Building on the success of an award-winning program in 2006 (Best of Blue Award Winner), the tour will feature a branded Chevy Suburban and 20-foot trailer in its second year of activation, including interactive games and challenging sports-themed activities to help children bring out their “inner champions.”
