Montessori gives the gift of Christmas

FALLBROOK — On Christmas Eve day two well-stocked vehicles from families of Fallbrook Montessori School delivered food and presents to a warm, welcoming and grateful local family.

Each child received several gifts and clothing items; the parents received a generous gift card and the donated food was abundant enough to last the family for the entire Christmas week.

Staff, teachers, parents and the students of Fallbrook Montessori joined together to collect and donate the items that made a difference in the family’s life. So much was donated that there was extra to give to the Food Pantry for other families.

The family that was adopted by Fallbrook Montessori was one of many sponsored by individuals and organizations in the Fallbrook area through the Fallbrook Community Project.

“Families from Fallbrook Montessori School responded enthusiastically to the request to help the family,” said school director Teresita Leimer.

“We are happy to assist the Fallbrook Community Project in their efforts and plan to do so again next year!”
