VISTA — Moonlight Stage Productions continues the Moonlight at The Avo Playhouse Winter Season with “Route 66,” a musical revue of songs for the road by Roger Bean.

In “Route 66,” four high-energy gas station attendants pay tribute to the highway that will forever be part of the American landscape and culture. Singing and dancing their way from Chicago to California, the cast showcases popular musical styles ranging from the Beach Boys to Elvis.

The musical cross-country hit performs at the Avo Playhouse, 303 Main Street in downtown Vista, January 31 through February 24. Performances run Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. (no Saturday matinee on February 23).
