I wish I could see their faces

Driving past the small white crosses on Stage Coach Lane, I wish instead of crosses, I saw the faces of women – women who had to make a very difficult decision: to have an abortion.

Incest, health issues, rape, family problems, no one in their life to help them… I am sure there are many more reasons, very personal reasons, that women and their partners must make this choice.

I do not choose to judge the reasons women must decide to take this course. However, I do appreciate that in America, because of the judgment of our Supreme Court, we do have the right to choose – the right to our own very personal health choices.
