Effects of quarry to be explained Feb. 1

Rainbow Against The quarry (RATq) will be holding a panel meeting on Friday, February 1, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fallbrook Public Utility District, 990 East Mission, Fallbrook.

There will be a group of informed people, experts in their fields, on the panel to answer all questions about the effects and the consequences of a quarry in the community.

The “keynote” speaker will be Penny Newman, director of the Center for Community Action and Environmental Justice.
