Hansford a Realtor with sterling customer service

At Coldwell Banker Landmark Group, Tess Hansford has earned an outstanding reputation as a Realtor™. While affiliated with this company, Hansford has received a bevy of awards including Outstanding Performance Award, Top Listing Agent, President’s Circle, President’s Club recognitions and more.

With all the decorations she has earned, her most treasured are the Customer Satisfaction Awards. “Every year, I have won a Customer Satisfaction Award,” said Hansford.

To earn this award, a Realtor™ must receive a glowing report as a result of their Customer Opinion Surveys, explained Hansford.

This survey goes out to each client, and Realtors™ at this office are rated on their performance in areas of: communication, knowledge, listening, problem-solving, areas of improvement and the possibility of future referrals.

“These surveys are really important because it tells me how people feel about me,” said Hansford.

The feedback from these surveys help Hansford strive to be an agent that a client will never forget. “I want people to remember me down the line,” she said.

For Hansford, customer service begins the first time she meets a potential client. She bonds with her client, confirming that communication is intact throughout the whole process. “And a real estate process can take years,” noted Hansford.

Offering blue ribbon customer service provides Hansford with that “job well done” feeling. “I have an ongoing relationship with my clients, and it’s the trust that they have in me that is passed on in referrals,” she said.

Frequently, clients have turned out to be friends, Hansford added.

These days, customer service seems tough to find, but providing quality customer service comes naturally for Hansford. “I think that treating people right really came from my upbringing,” she said.

Keeping her clients happy is her number one priority, and it starts with listening to their needs. “I want to steer my clients in the right direction and make sure that I find them the right fit.”

Hansford is also recognized and praised regarding her low key approach with clients. “I’m not a pusher and a shover with selling,” she said. She herself dislikes those tactics when used on her, which in turn makes her very conscientious of her clients’ space, feelings and privacy.

Hansford considers her areas of specialty to be residential and raw land properties. She also earned a special certification as a Military Specialist.

Having resided in Fallbrook for the last 30 years, Hansford has vast knowledge regarding the area, making her a wonderful source of information.

Additionally, Hansford is a member of the North San Diego Board of Realtors and a member of the National Association of Realtors.

Working in real estate for more than 15 years, Hansford admits her favorite part of the job is still meeting and dealing with people. “I also like to be out and about, and I enjoy seeing different properties.”

For Hansford, finding that right property for her client is an exciting experience.

When not performing her real estate duties, Hansford enjoys playing tennis and keeps rather busy as a chairperson for Toys for Tots.

Whenever time permits, Hansford and her husband enjoy spending time at their Lake Tahoe cabin. It is her family’s special getaway. “It’s our special retreat up there,” she said.
