Miss Fallbrook entry deadline near

Soroptimist International of Fallbrook sponsors the annual Miss Fallbrook pageant, which will be held March 29. The organization is accepting entrants for the pageant through February 1.

Contestants must reside in Fallbrook, Bonsall, Rainbow, Pala or De Luz and range in age from 17 (and a senior in high school) to 24 by the date of the pageant. A contestant must be single and never have had a child. Entrants should have excellent communication and social skills.

Judging includes sportswear, evening gown and interview segments. There are no bathing suit or talent segments.

Miss Fallbrook serves as an ambassador at numerous community events and participates in other events countywide. Miss Fallbrook 2008 will receive a $500 cash award and many other valuable prizes.
