Parkinson's Support Group to meet

North County Parkinson’s Support Group meets from 10 a.m. to noon the second Wednesday of each month at the Gloria McClellan Senior Center, 1400 Vale Terrace Drive, Vista.

On Wednesday, February 13, speaker Dr. David Peterson will give a presentation entitled “How the brain adapts during learning in Parkinson’s.”

Dr. Peterson is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Dr. Howard Poizner’s laboratory at the Institute for Neural Computation at UC San Diego. He has BS degrees in electrical engineering and business and a PhD in computer science with an emphasis in neuroscience.
