Articles on high school provide important facts

Recently, the Village News had two stories regarding Fallbrook Union High School District (FUHSD) dealings with the Teacher’s Association and steering the election of district directors. These three new directors fired the superintendent, which will cost the district at least $300,000.

In the issue of January 24, another two stories, by Sarah Bates and Debbie Ramsey, provides more concerns for FUHSD reporting on an investigation that describes the school’s problems.

One story reported on the loss of $193,000 in reduced state income; the other was information on an investigation into a teacher’s conduct.

Keep providing the facts for the citizens and voters’ information. The school management has some serious financial problems to solve as well as possible personnel problems. Have they thought about reorganization and reduction of overhead?
