Fallbrook Hospital provided fine treatment

Last month, I had a minor medical problem and had to go to Fallbrook Hospital, where I was admitted into the Emergency Department for evaluation.

As I have been for many years a member of the Fallbrook Hospital Auxiliary and acquainted with many of the hospital’s employees, Dr. Johannes Neuendorf and nurses Holly and Susan gave me the best of care before I was transferred to the Medical/Surgical Department.

Dr. Neuendorf, whom I hadn’t met previously, put me at ease with his friendly but professional manner, answering my questions fully and doing so with a light touch that left me relaxed and comfortable.

Though I was not surprised by the fine treatment given me, it gave me the opportunity to observe the staff in action as they attended to the needs of the other patients.

In every respect, these patients were treated every bit as well as I had been by the caring and extremely competent staff. It was another fine example of why Fallbrook is deservedly known as the “Friendly Village.”

Our hospital is an important asset to the community and the actions of its staff make me very proud to be a small part of its activities through my membership in the Auxiliary and my involvement as a director in the Fallbrook Healthcare District.
