Cathy Kerley, president of the Kiwanis Club, presents the first of 100 books the club is donating to the Builder
Potter Junior High’s Builder’s Club, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Fallbrook, is collecting books during the month of February for a book giveaway to be held on March 1 at Potter in celebration of Read Across America.
Families who lost their homes during the fires will receive an invitation in the mail to come and select books for all family members.
New or gently used books of all types and for all ages are welcome. The community is encouraged to drop off books at the school’s office.
