Echevarria, Martinez honored at UC Santa Barbara

Two local undergraduate students at the University of California, Santa Barbara have been selected for the Dean’s Honors List, having achieved excellence in their academic work during the fall quarter 2007.

Fallbrook resident Onofre Echevarria, with an undeclared major in the Letters and Science Program, and Adriana Nicole Martinez, a Rainbow resident majoring in pre-psychology, were named to the Dean’s List.

This honor, which is noted on their permanent record, is earned by students who have attained a grade point average of at least 3.75 (A-minus) on a program of 12 or more graded units in the College of Letters and Science, or at least 3.50 in the College of Engineering.
