Ed Grajczyk

Ed Grajczyk passed away on February 2, 2008, in La Jolla, CA, from kidney failure.

He was born March 19, 1928, in Grenville, SD. He married Marcy Wirus on October 20, 1956. In 1956 they moved to California, where they made their home.

Ed worked for McDonald Douglas in Santa Monica for several years, then went into his own business, doing excavation construction work and later electrical work.

Ed was active at St. Peter’s Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus in Fallbrook, CA. He and Marcy enjoyed dancing and traveling and were members of Fallbrook Exploradores RV Club.

Besides his wife Marcy, Ed is survived by children Mark and Arland, Oceanside, CA, Wayne and Debbie, Murrieta, CA, Gary and Candy, Temecula, CA, Sherri and Scott Shimomura, Santa Cruz, CA, and Scott and Lisa, Fallbrook; treasured grandchildren Chris, Misty, Cory, Cody, Sam, Sarah and Steven; 10 great-grandchildren; brother David and Ruthie, Corona, CA; plus many relatives and friends.

Rosary and visitation were held February 6 at Berry-Bell & Hall Mortuary. A funeral mass was held February 7 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Fallbrook.

Burial, with full military honors, will be at 1:30 p.m. on March 20 at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA.
