FFA activities shape better leaders

Throughout the spring semester, Fallbrook FFA has been busy with so many activities that better the members as leaders, public speakers and responsible citizens!

Every stepping stone taken in the FFA program makes us better leaders in life; it teaches us the qualities of life that we need to become great people and do great things.

Throughout the past few weeks, we have been starting so many great activities such as Parliamentary-Procedure, Proficiencies, Judging Teams and Public Speaking. As we have been competing in Judging Teams, we have been doing very well.

The Fallbrook FFA has competed with great judging teams that include Farm Records, Livestock Judging, Floriculture, Ornamental Horticulture, Horse Judging, Farm Power, Vegetable Judging and Specialty Animals.

We have competed in two competitions. The first was the San Diego Section Field Day held at the Fallbrook Ag Department. We would like to thank the Fallbrook Ag Boosters and other community volunteers who have helped us put on this field day every year with their continued help and donations.

The other competition was Norte Vista Field Day held at Norte Vista High School. The Fallbrook FFA did a great job with all the judging teams; keep up the good work!

We have had 20 proficiencies, including eight who are going on to the state level in April, which include: Kelsey Adams, Tatiana Prestininzi, Wade Colburn, Eduardo Gonzales, Maggie Maratsos and Stacy Magana.

As Parliamentary-Procedure just kicks off, they have been getting ready for the competitions. Public Speaking is just starting also and we wish them good luck at the Ramona Public Speaking Contest, which is next week!
