Get ready, go deeper!

Are you ready for some spiritual treats? Then don’t be a weenie, start looking for some!

In Matthew 7-8 the Lord says, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” There are tremendous avenues of spiritual enlightenment and fantastic healing available to us as children of God.

If you don’t belong to a church yet, then ask the Lord which one he wants you in, take off your chicken suit, and just walk in the door. God will surely put you in the right place! Or just keep reading the pastors’ articles available in this section and make your decision based on like values. But don’t just sit there, go after spiritual experiences! Be hungry for them and you will be filled!

To truly experience God’s healing touch there are many venues here in Fallbrook. We have the Healing Rooms of Fallbrook (124 W. Beech St.) open 10am to 1pm on Fridays and Saturdays. At the Healing Rooms, trained Christians from different denominations are available to pray with you for whatever you are struggling with physically, spiritually or emotionally.

If you feel called to be one of their pray-ers, or if you just want to be able to apply the teaching to your own life, training for the Healing Rooms begins tonight at 7pm at Fallbrook Pres (463 S. Stage Coach). Call Marilyn 728-9265, to register.

Also, at St. John’s Anglican Church (434 N Iowa) there is a healing service every Thursday at 10am.

Many of our churches have support groups and 12 Step programs. Check out our Christian Calendar here weekly to see what’s happening in our wonderful churches and jump in!

With St. Peter’s parking lot under construction, their annual renewal event (called a “parish mission”) will be at Fallbrook Presbyterian Church (463 S. Stage Coach Lane), February 25-27, 6:30-8:30pm and you are invited! It will be an excellent time of teaching and inspiration.

Father Pat Crowley is well-known throughout the southern California Christian community as a leader in spiritual renewal and healing ministry. Come and be blessed! All are welcome!

The theme this year is based on Luke 2:52: “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men.” Are we willing to follow Jesus’ example? Are we willing to change our status, share our spirituality with a sense of balance, and experience healing of our emotional wounds? Come and get the answer! Father Pat is a member of the Association of Christian Therapists.

With all these goodies going on you can’t help but be touched by the Lord. For heaven’s sake (and your sake) give faith a chance to deepen in your heart and be healed in ways you never imagined possible! Because that is why faith matters!

“Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!” Matthew 7:9-11
