Interact president visits Fallbrook Rotary

FALLBROOK — Stott Bushnell, president of the Fallbrook Union High School Interact Club, updated their sponsor, The Rotary Club of Fallbrook, at a recent meeting.

Interact is a high school service club whose 60-plus members participate in such community projects as ringing bells for the Salvation Army red pot Christmas fundraiser; the delivery of four truckloads of food plus $1,500 ($1,000 from Fallbrook Rotary and $500 raised by Interact) to La Gloria Orphanage, Tijuana, as Christmas assistance; visiting and assisting local skilled nursing facilities every week; and assisting Rotarians on their “Rotarians at Work Day” the first Saturday in April.

Bushnell, a FUHS senior and 50-meter swimming champion, will enter Brigham Young University on a swim scholarship in the fall.
