Betty Jo Meza

Betty Jo Meza, 74, passed away February 25, 2008. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and beloved friend.

She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 58 years, Pedro (Pete) Meza.

After meeting Pedro in 1948, Betty became a homemaker and together they raised five children. She loved to cook, garden and shop, but most of all she loved her family.

Betty passed away peacefully at home surrounded by those she loved so much: husband Pedro; sister Hilda Crane, Sun City, CA; sons Billy, Denny and Randy; and daughter Darlene.

She was preceded in death by son Ronald Lee Meza. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery on her birthday, Wednesday, March 5.
