Girl Scout cookies coming

Anyone who missed out on ordering Girl Scout cookies this year need not fear they will be going without. Girl Scouts will be at local businesses beginning February 28 to sell their delicious cookies.

At $4 per box, the cookies are a great value and provide funds for local girls to gain leadership skills, improve their communities and “Grow Strong.”

People who don’t need the cookies can still support Girl Scouts by purchasing cookies for Operation Thin Mint. For the same price as a box of cookies, they can send cookies to the troops overseas.

Returning troops have commented on how wonderful it is to receive a taste of home. This program is unique to San Diego County, so support the local Girl Scouts and the troops by buying some cookies.
