Adults

• March 1-April 30 – Fallbrook Friends Community Reads: featured title “Run” by Ann Patchett.

• March 1 – 1 to 5 p.m. – Passport Fair with US Post Office: apply for a new or renewal passport. Photos to be taken.

• March 4 – 10 a.m. – Friends of the Library board meeting. Art Studios, 310 E. Alvarado.

• March 4 – 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. – Writing Practice Group: adults practice creative writing exercises. Led by Irene Hendricks.

• March 6 – 9 to 10 a.m. – Computer class: introduction to library computers, ordering books online, renewing books from home, using San Diego Circuit University books interlibrary loan consortium and signing on to the Internet.

• March 11 – 6 to 7 p.m. – “Improve Your Shot” photography class. Led by Sandy Schieffer of the Fallbrook Camera Club.

• March 13 – 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. – Book Talk meeting: featured title “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” by J.K. Rowling. Moderators Marlo Miller and Nanette Noonan. Fallbrook Public Utility District, 990 E. Mission.

• March 20 – 9 to 10 a.m. – Computer class: introduction to library databases.

All ages

• March 13 – 6:30 p.m. – Family Craft Night: bring the whole family to make a seasonal craft. Sign up at reference desk.

Children

• Tuesdays – 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Grandparents and Books: read a story with Grandpa Larry.

• March 4 – 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. – After-school craft: shamrock wreath.

• March 5 – 10:30 a.m. – Preschool storytime (ages 3 to 5): “Happy Birthday” with Mary Stevens and her dog Gemini.

• March 12 – 10:30 a.m. – Preschool storytime: spring storytime and craft with Miss Rosemarie.

• March 13 – 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Paws to Read: read aloud to a companion dog. Sign up at reference desk for a 15-minute session.

• March 19 – 10:30 a.m. – Preschool storytime: “Bath Time” with Mary Stevens and her dog Gemini.

• March 26 – 10:30 a.m. – Preschool storytime: Kamishibai Japanese stories with Miss Sylvia.

Teens

• March 26 – 4 to 6 p.m. – Teen Game Night: play chess or checkers at the library.
