Before you accept Direct Buy’s “invitation” to visit their virtual showroom, you should read the 422 complaints on the Internet at http://www.infomercialscams.com. I was denied because I am “single” (widow) – even though I told them I had a huge check from the insurance company after the fires. They weren’t interested!

I had to have a husband/partner/roommate or “significant other.” I had told them that a friend was coming with me as she too is rebuilding. Not acceptable!

My opinion is that it is a “timeshare” type of scam that costs $4,580 to join for the first three years and a further fee to extend for another long term, and I believe you will be pressured into signing a contract before you even have a chance to check their stock and prices.
