The St. Stephen Lutheran School boys and girls basketball teams participated in the sixth annual grade school West Coast Shootout held February 8-10. Schools from throughout California, Nevada and Arizona participated.
The St. Stephen girls team took second place, with first place going to Apostles Lutheran School, San Jose. The St. Stephen boys team was awarded first place for the fourth year in a row, with second place going to King of Kings, Garden Grove.
This year’s eighth grade boys also did something that has never been done in school history: they never lost a game in their four years of basketball competition.
