Fire department looking for senior volunteers

The North County Fire Protection District is considering the implementation of a Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).

This program will be designed to draw upon the resources and expertise of senior citizens within the community.

This volunteer support group will enhance the services currently provided by the North County Fire Department. It is anticipated these senior volunteers will work on projects related to fire safety, public education, mapping, answering phones and miscellaneous tasks in order to assist fire personnel.

RSVPs must have a strong desire to serve their community and be comfortable working in a team environment.
