Children can earn free tickets to 'Seussical'

The Fallbrook Players and the Fallbrook branch of the San Diego County Library are teaming up with Fallbrook and Bonsall merchants to provide local children an opportunity to earn free tickets to “Seussical the Musical!”

The “From the Page to the Stage” program allows children ages 5-12 to earn their ticket to “Seussical” by reading a Dr. Seuss book and then filling in a blank poster provided by the library.

This poster challenges each child in critical thinking and creative writing and offers space for artistic expression. Children may pick up their posters from the Fallbrook Library.

After finishing their poster, they will take it to a participating merchant, who will present the child with a voucher for a free child’s ticket to “Seussical,” playing April 4-19 at the Mission Theater. The merchant can then proudly display the poster.

“This is a great opportunity to come together as a community to support both the youth in the ‘Seussical’ production and the kids earning their own ticket,” said Connie Knox, president of Fallbrook Players. “March 2 is Dr. Seuss’ birthday and this is an exciting way to celebrate all of the fun he has provided children for generations.”
