Natasha Ragland's art is on display at the library

During the month of March, the Fallbrook Public Library will display paintings by local artist Natasha Ragland. Natasha, who has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from California State University at Long Beach and teaches piano, first started painting after her beloved German Shepherd died almost 2 years ago and she painted his likeness.

That painting seemed to ignite her dormant passion for painting in oils. Parents of her piano students started asking her to do portraits of their children along with their dogs, cats, and horses. Last year her portrait of four dogs won People’s Choice at the San Diego County Fair.

From April 4-12, she and her father, artist Jack Ragland, have been invited to show their paintings at the Grand National Art Show and Sale featuring over 100 artists from around the world at the Cow Palace in San Francisco.
