AAUW Garden Tour coming May 10

The Fallbrook branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is planning its 13th Country Garden Tour of Fallbrook: “Pools, Patios and More.”

The tour will take place on Saturday, May 10, the day before Mother’s Day, from 12 to 4 p.m.

The starting point will be the Palomares House, 1815 South Stage Coach Lane, where tickets may be purchased and vendors selling garden-related products will be on hand.

Tickets are $15 if purchased in advance or $20 onsite and include light refreshments and a self-guided map to the gardens.

Event chairpersons Jeff and Susan Nelson have selected six or seven outstanding gardens for visitors to view and get landscaping ideas from.

Plein air painters will be at several of the gardens.

All proceeds from this event go to local scholarships.
