Hospital Auxiliary recognizes volunteer hours

FALLBROOK — At a recent meeting of the Fallbrook Hospital Auxiliary, 25 members were acknowledged for the number of volunteer hours they have accumulated.

Their Hour Pins were awarded by Hollis Moyse of the Membership Committee.

Those receiving recognition were:

• 60 hours: Mimi Luciani

• 200 hours: Wilma Chain, Jennifer Huggel, Sky Littlefield, Martha McCool, Roena Thompson

• 500 hours: Walt Parry

• 1,000 hours: Hanh Huu DeMore, Sharon Heincy, Bonnie Johnson, D’Ann Kubitz, Annie Waibel, Velna Wells

• 1,500 hours: Mavis Hurd, Billy Lockett, Alfonso Ollivares

• 2,000 hours: Elizabeth Baumgart, Pat Brown, Peggy Comeau, Walter Roush

• 3,000 hours: Janice Gaudet

• 4,000 hours: Carol Faw

• 8,500 hours: Esther Gonsalves

• 10,000 hours: Marilyn Qualls

• 19,500 hours: Chic Maclise, who has been an active member of the Auxiliary for 32 years

With a membership of 200, the Fallbrook Hospital Auxiliary’s public and charitable purpose is to give volunteer service to hospital patients.

In addition, members raise funds for community healthcare services and for scholarships awarded yearly to high school graduates living in the Fallbrook Healthcare District and planning to enter the healthcare field.
